End Chemical Company Immunity For Cancer Victims

This petition seeks to put an end to attempts by a chemical company to escape responsibility for causing people cancer. The company, Bayer Monsanto, is pushing for state-level immunity across the US, and is asking Congress for immunity in this year’s Farm Bill. This means that you and your family would be blocked from suing Bayer Monsanto if their product harmed or killed your child. This is despite the fact that the company has already paid $10b to settle nearly 100,000 cases after a jury previously found their product liable for causing cancer in 2018.

What’s worse is that residues of the toxic chemical, called glyphosate, are being found in foods that are commonly given to our kids, our drinking water, and even our rainwater. This causes irreparable harm, the impacts of which are far-reaching.

America and our kids deserve clean food, water, and an environment that’s free of toxic chemicals. Corporations that put profits over the health of the nation and are knowingly poisoning our kids and communities must be stopped.

We can win this fight. Bills have been stopped in Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Wyoming in 2025.
